Sometimes the ride that we’re taken on by our higher selves is unexpected in every way. That was 2025 for me. It pushed me in the most excruciating of ways, but then eased in her testing as the year drew to a close, showing me beauty and compassion through meaningful connection with self and others that I had not dreamt possible.
From what I’ve shared with those in my circle, my experience is not unique, that 2025 was a year that tested most people. And it makes sense if you consider that 2025 was the year of the snake, for those who follow the Chinese zodiac Shengxiao: a year of shedding of the old alongside a rebirth of types to move forward with childlike wonder that embraces the new. It was a year where things that no longer served us were left in our wake, thus allowing an opportunity (and space) for the new to enter. With the year of the horse nearly upon us (officially from 17 Feb 2026), I am choosing to see 2026 as my opportunity to move forward with strength, ease and majestic confidence. I’ve spent time doing ‘the work’ of what feels like 10 years of ‘heavy lifting’ in 2025, and I am now ready to reap the rewards – thank-you higher self!
Shifting gears to a more personal business note, I wanted to acknowledge your ongoing and unfailing loyalty, support and love in continuing to welcome the Indira Organics range of products into your life and onto your bathroom counter.
I have placed my heart and soul into my third ‘child’ for close to a decade now, and it’s been a journey that continues to both challenge me and provide delightful random puffs of joy. It’s only through your support and appreciation that I’ve been able to do what I love in building my dream which I am incredibly grateful, so thank-you 🙏
I am looking forward to exploring some exciting new skincare ventures in 2026 including new sample packaging, eco-friendly refills and a new product by way of a gentle yet highly effective exfoliating mask which I've been rolling around in my mind for the last 3 years waiting to unearth this new wonder! Such small yet personally significant projects fill my heart with absolute pleasure - to stick my creative hat back on, which is a place of comfort and pleasant motivation for me.
And I’m also keen to give back in a unique new way in 2026, differing from how I have been subtly doing so previously (which has been predominantly through product donation and support), so if you have any ideas, I would sincerely love to hear from you – please hit ‘reply’ with your considered suggestion.
